The first round of the Master's LCQ is in the bag, and hometown hero, John Travers has booked himself a ticket to America' s biggest water ski spectacle, the US Masters. Details are sparse, but JT reportedly killed turn one, had a long two-ball turn and squeaked out the full three. JT will be joining many of the world's top pros next weekend on the historic waters of Robin Lake.

D3 and MasterCraft skier Marcus Brown has the habit of stepping things up. While most are content to brainstorm over a few beers, MB likes to brainstorm over a few beers, then wake up the next day and get right after things. Thus, his nation wide Face to Face Tour has officially kicked off this week. Starting in the Lone Star State, and winding coast to coast and back again, MB and his crew will be hitting all the pro scenes and conducting clinics in between, from now until the US Open in September. Joined by Momentum producer PJ McMillan, and his girlfriend, personal trainer Jen LaBaw, Marcus is dialed to bring slalom to the masses, and continue to shape the future of our sport.
